# As it leaves early access, the Endless Legend 2 soundtrack gets a full release

I'm not big on strategy games. I get the appeal, don't get me wrong, but I try to avoid dipping into those kinds of time sinks these days. I'm still recovering from a bad *Overwatch* addiction; I'm not about to trade it for another vice just yet. As always, music is my way into these worlds. And as a longtime Arnaud Roy fan, I'm thrilled to finally hear the full *Endless Legend 2* soundtrack.

The French composer released an initial preview of the score last year alongside the early access rollout. Today, 18 new tracks have joined the tracklist. We're treated to some splendid, laid-back orchestral pieces, almost always elevated by a serene handpan melody courtesy of Roy's longtime collaborator Jean-Noël Godard (who worked closely with Roy on *Humankind*).

*Humankind* remains a personal favorite, distinguished by its wide array of period instruments and traditional scales. Another standout in Arnaud Roy's discography is *Endless Dungeon*, where American singer-songwriter Lera Lynn (featured in season two of *True Detective*) lends genuine emotional weight to the mix.
