# A love letter to classic JRPGs, Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire OST debuts on streaming platforms

Released in 2024, the JRPG from Octeto Studio didn't exactly receive rave reviews. However, that shouldn't stop you from giving its OST, composed by Matias Castro Cancino, a listen. 

Taking the Chilean studio's promise literally, the composer goes all out, drawing from countless references to deliver a soundtrack blending rock and orchestral music. It evokes both Motoi Sakuraba's most famous works and the music of *Skies of Arcadia*. While the game itself is a bit rough around the edges and technically flawed, it definitely deserves a second look now that its OST is available on all streaming platforms.
